Rethink. Recycle. Regenerate.
A lot of companies claim they have a low Co2 impact, and because they do, they have certificates for that. In our opinion, if you really want to have a zero impact, you have to go back to the beginning.
Which brings us to our first core value: rethink. Start with rethinking and take a closer look at the packaging. For instance, is this the right material, efficient size and sustainable packaging. Nowadays, there are all kinds of certificates on the market and which they try to regulate, for example certificates for forests in Brazil. But you never know exactly what happens behind the scenes: you don't know exactly how that works and you might buy certificates for a bunch of what was already there. With our rethink method, you actually minimize the impact you are already making. You go all the way back to the beginning; how can you minimize the impact and compensate for what is left. By using more adjusted shapes and using the right eco-friendly materials, packaging materials can be reduced to an absolute minimum without compromising on quality and looks.
Our second core value: Recycle. You’ve probably heard of the term. Just to be sure you’re aware, let me refresh your memory. Recycling means that materials are re-used. Recycling is different from reusing. Re-using means that products are entirely re-used, and recycling means that materials from the products are re-used. We think recycling is very important in the cycle of packaging. While creating an outstanding appearance we select the most beautiful recycled or biodegradable materials. A carbon footprint study will be made to pinpoint the processes with the largest carbon emissions to reduce them.
And last but not least: Regenerate. To us, compensating means giving back for all the emission that is left. That's why we regenerate. In order to fulfil our promise of ZERO impact, we compensate for the amount of emission that is left, by planting trees in areas where it will help the local community. We keep track of the growth and monitor carbon compensation.
In a nutshell, this is our philosophy. Needless to say, there is so much more to it. If you want to know more, please contact our experts.
